We’re excited to share that we are now officially Ocean Positive! Through our partnership with SeaTrees, we’ve taken concrete steps to not only reduce our carbon footprint but also actively restore critical ecosystems.
Here’s how we made it happen:
Step 1: Measure
We began by measuring our climate impact to understand how we can do better.
Step 2: Compensate
We’ve compensated for all of our carbon emissions by purchasing the SeaTrees Token. This token sequesters 1 metric ton of CO2 through carbon credits from the Southern Cardamom REDD+ project in Cambodia. Plus, it plants three mangrove trees in Kenya, which enhance biodiversity, support sustainable livelihoods, and have the potential to sequester even more CO2 over their lifetime.
Step 3: Reduce
We’re committed to reducing our emissions in the long term, making sustainability a priority in every decision we make.
By becoming Ocean Positive, we’ve gone beyond just offsetting emissions—we’re actively restoring ecosystems and contributing to a healthier planet. 🌍
